The Kentucky Golf Association celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Kentucky State Amateur Championship last year at Lexington's Kearney Hill Golf Links and crowned Patrick Newcomb the champion. Newcomb will return to defend his title as the 101st edition of the association's flagship championship heads into the Cardinal Club in June.
Popular Television Series Will Now Air on WLKY Channel 32
To kick off its 26th season, Inside Kentucky Golf has moved to a new time and station. The popular television series will now air on WLKY Channel 32 on Sundays prior to final round coverage of CBS Sports Golf broadcasts. This half-hour program airs weekly for 17 weeks beginning May 6, 2012 and concluding August 26, 2012.
It was a great day to be on the golf course and playing a fun and exciting venue added to a great value for members of the KGA Members Program. About thirty golfers enjoyed their day at Wildwood Country Club and there were some outstanding performances among them.

New Executive Director Named to the KGA-PGA, Inc.
LOUISVILLE, KY (March 19, 2012) - The board of directors at the KGA-PGA, Inc. has announced Steve McMillen to take the reigns as Executive Director at Golf House Kentucky in Louisville.
